The technique presented here is based on so called mnemonics, i.e. words which are intended to be easier to remember than the thing they stand for. Each card is associated with a mnemonic.
When remembering cards these mnemoncis are put into a structure. This structure can for example be a story which you create with you imagination. Another more powerful structure that you can use requires some preparation. The structure consists of a walk through a familiar environment, such as the town where you live. This structure is created once and then used over and over again. You associate the mnemoics with 52 landmarks along this walk.
When you have a good command of this technique you will only need 2-5 minutes to memorize a shuffled deck of cards. It is much easier than you think!
The first step is to define mnemonics, then learn the mnemonics, then memorize 52 cards, and finally you remember the cards.
